RETURNS, REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS POLICY

Affordable Machinery does not accept returns for change of mind.
1. Change of Mind
We do not provide refunds or exchanges for change of mind for in-stock products.
The only exception applies to cancelled pre-orders, as outlined in our Sales & Pre-Order Terms.
2. Consumer Guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure
- Repair or replacement for goods that fail to meet consumer guarantees
If a product has a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement.
If the failure is minor, we may choose to repair or replace the product within a reasonable time.
3. Returns for Faulty or Defective Goods
If you believe a product is faulty:
- Contact us at sales@affordablemachinery.com.au
- Provide proof of purchase
- Provide images, videos, and description of the issue as requested by Affordable Machinery
Returns will only be accepted where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Customers are responsible for returning goods to our Derwent Park store unless the issue qualifies as a major failure under ACL.
Machines must be returned in original condition unless the fault prevents this.
4. Return Costs
If a product is confirmed to have a major failure, Affordable Machinery will cover reasonable return freight costs.
For minor failures, return freight is the customer’s responsibility.
