SALES & PRE-ORDER TERMS

These Sales & Pre-Order Terms apply to all purchases made from Affordable Machinery (ABN 93 661 487 574) whether in-store, online, via Shopify, eBay, Google, social media platforms, or any other sales channel.

All advertised pricing is in Australian Dollars (AUD) and is GST inclusive unless otherwise stated.

1. In-Stock Purchases

Products listed as in stock are available for immediate purchase.

Full payment is required at the time of checkout for all online orders.
In-store purchases must be paid in full prior to collection unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Pre-Orders

Some products, including machinery and attachments, may be offered on a pre-order basis.

2.1 Payment Structure for Machinery Pre-Orders

    • 30% deposit at time of order
    • 40% payment when notified that product is ready for shipment
    • Remaining 30% payable upon arrival and prior to collection

Production and shipping timeframes are estimates only. Typical total lead time is approximately 10 weeks (4–5 weeks production and preparation, plus 4–5 weeks sea freight to Tasmania).

Delays outside our reasonable control (including factory delays, shipping delays, customs, port congestion, or freight disruptions) do not automatically entitle cancellation.

3. Pre-Order Cancellations

If a customer cancels a machinery pre-order:

  • The deposit may be retained to cover reasonable costs incurred.
  • Any refund will only be processed once the machine has been resold.
  • A resale fee applies:
    • $500 for machinery and products over $3,000
    • $250 for products under $3,000
  • Refunds are processed using the original payment method once the item is resold.
  • Affordable Machinery reserves the right to deduct reasonable costs associated with the cancelled order in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

4. Custom or Special Orders

  • Custom-built, modified, or specially sourced items may not be cancellable once production has commenced.
  • Any deposit paid for custom orders may be retained to cover actual costs incurred.

5. Title & Ownership

  • Ownership of goods does not transfer until full payment has been received.
