Finance

Finance is available on our machines and attachments. We do not provide it ourselves — we introduce you to Quest Finance Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 17 625 126 641), an independent finance provider. Everything after the introduction is between you and Quest.

How it works

1. You tell us you would like finance. By phone, email, or when you are here.
2. We ask your permission, then make the introduction. With your consent we pass your name and contact details to our contact at Quest Finance, along with the machine and price if you want us to. Nothing is sent without your say-so.
3. Quest deals with you directly. The application, credit assessment, rate, fees, structure, documents and approval decision are entirely theirs. We are not part of that conversation and we cannot influence the outcome.
4. If it is approved and you proceed, Quest settles the invoice with us and your machine is released under our normal Sales & Pre-Order Terms.

What we do — and what we don't

Our finance terms

These terms apply whenever we introduce you to a financier. They sit alongside our Sales & Pre-Order Terms.

1. Introduction only. Affordable Machinery Pty Ltd is a machinery retailer. We are not a credit provider, a finance broker, a credit assistance provider or a financial adviser, and we do not hold an Australian Credit Licence.
2. Not a recommendation. Naming Quest Finance is an introduction to a provider we have found straightforward to deal with. It is not advice that finance is right for you, that Quest is the best option for you, or that any particular product, term or structure suits your circumstances.
3. We may be paid. If you take out finance arranged through Quest Finance we may receive a referral payment from Quest, calculated as a share of their remuneration on the transaction. We do not charge you any fee for the introduction, and the referral payment is made to us by Quest, not by you. We will tell you if you ask what we expect to receive.
4. Your choice of financier. You are under no obligation to use Quest Finance or any financier we mention. You are free to arrange finance anywhere, or to pay cash. Our price does not change either way, and buying from us is not conditional on using them.
5. Consent before we pass anything on. We will not give your details to a financier unless you ask us to or agree to it. What we share is handled under our Privacy Policy. Once your details reach Quest, their privacy policy governs what they do with them.
6. No guarantee of approval or timing. Approval, the rate offered, conditions and settlement timing are the financier's decisions. We cannot promise an outcome or a date, and we are not responsible for delays in the finance process.
7. The sale stands on its own. Your contract to buy the machine is with us and is separate from any finance contract. Deposits, pre-order commitments and cancellation terms in our Sales & Pre-Order Terms apply according to their own wording — a finance application being declined does not by itself change them. If finance matters to you, tell us before you place the order so it can be dealt with in writing at the time.
8. Finance disputes go to the financier. Any complaint about a credit application, a credit contract, conduct during assessment, or the handling of your information by the financier is between you and them. Quest can give you their internal complaints process and their external dispute resolution scheme.
9. The estimator is not a quote. Figures produced on this page are indicative arithmetic only and create no obligation on anyone.
10. Nothing here limits your legal rights. These terms do not exclude, restrict or modify any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
