Warranty & Support Policy
Affordable Machinery stands behind the quality of our products, including our Quoll Equipment range. We provide a 12-month parts-based warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Parts-Based Machinery Warranty
Our machinery warranty is strictly parts-based to ensure minimum downtime without requiring machines to be transported long distances.
If a fault occurs:
- The customer must contact us via email with proof of purchase.
- The customer must provide clear images and/or video of the fault for diagnostic troubleshooting.
- Upon verification of a manufacturing defect, replacement parts will be supplied for the customer to install.
- Most parts are stocked locally in Tasmania. If a part is unavailable, it will be express shipped from our suppliers.
Labour and Servicing
Labour is strictly excluded from this warranty unless the machine is returned to our Derwent Park store for repair. We may, at our sole discretion, elect to provide on-site support, but this is not guaranteed and depends on location and resource availability. We highly recommend professional servicing for all machinery. Customers may service machines themselves if competent, provided it is done to manufacturer specifications.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, improper operation, or overloading.
- Lack of maintenance, improper servicing, or unauthorised modifications.
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, surface rust, or fading.
- Consumable and wear items including: rubber tracks, tyres, belts, chains, sprockets, bearings, brake components, hydraulic hoses, batteries, filters, and lubricants (unless a direct manufacturing defect is proven upon immediate delivery).
