Roo pre-build each attachment to the hook-up (pin diameter, pin centres, ear width) of the machine class and make in their hook-up guide. We confirm local availability of your exact hook-up with Roo before we process payment, and contact you with an ETA if it is not in stock. Will a Roo attachment fit my excavator?
Roo pre-build each attachment to the hook-up of the machine class and make in their hook-up guide: pin diameter, pin centres and ear width. Pick your make and model above and we show the class and hook-up code. Before we process your payment we check that Roo have your exact hook-up in stock, and if not we contact you with an ETA.
Where are Roo attachments made?
Roo Attachments is an Australian-owned company based in Port Kembla, NSW. Their attachments are made in Roo's own Australian-owned factory in Xiamen, China, and warehoused in Australia. Roo state they select the steel plate themselves and use Bisalloy grade steel in the critical wear areas.
How long does delivery to Tasmania take?
Items we hold in Derwent Park can be collected or dispatched straight away. Anything shipped from Roo's warehouse typically takes one to two weeks to reach Hobart when your hook-up is in stock. We confirm availability with Roo before we take payment, so you know which applies before you pay.
Which pin size does a 1.7 tonne excavator use?
Most 1.5 to 1.8 tonne machines use a 30 mm pin. JCB use 25 mm and John Deere 32 mm. Pin centres and ear width vary by make, for example Kubota U17-3 is 30 mm pin, 85 mm centres, 96 mm ears, and Hitachi ZX17U is 30 mm, 119 mm centres, 119 mm ears.
Who backs the warranty?
Every Roo attachment carries a 12-month warranty, and Affordable Machinery handles it for you from our workshop at 83 Sunderland Street, Derwent Park. Fitment and warranty questions are dealt with here in Tasmania. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply on top.
Can you deliver outside Tasmania?
Yes. Roo dispatch Australia-wide from their warehouse, so an order from the mainland ships direct to you without a detour through Hobart.
Are pins included?
No. Pins and bushes are ordered separately so they match your machine. Say what you have and we will add the right set.
